paint the many areas that simply must be painted
in Western Australia.

Today our excursion from Margaret River takes
us to the famous Busselton Jetty, the longest in

Margaret River
This morning we travel to Augusta and Cape
Leeuwin, where the Southern and Indian Oceans
meet. The cape, the most south-westerly point in
Australia, has a rugged coastline and a lighthouse
built in 1895. Robyn will find a great painting
location close to the light house and show you
how to paint it. We will drive through the majestic
Boranup Karri Forest and admire the pale,
slender trees towering up to 60 meters. Today
we also explore the underground wonderland
of Mammoth Cave, it is one of just a few caves in
the south west which contains fossils. Our visit
to Mammoth Cave finishes with a winding walk
through the beautiful marri forest, with whistling
birds and stunning flora displays. These incredible
wonders of nature are right at our doorstep.
Tonight we will enjoy an included dinner.
DAY 6: Friday 25 October, 2024

marsupial). There will be a painting session on
Rottnest Island.
DAY 9: Monday 28 October, 2024
The Pinnacles
This morning we travel north along the coast,
stopping in Yanchep National Park. We then
continue our journey to Cervantes, a small coastal

dunes. This evening we have an included dinner.

“It was so well organized. We got to see all the best places, but without feeling we were being herded around like cattle, like you do on some tours. There was plenty of time to paint, and the instructor told me more about how to improve my painting style in weeks than I have learned all year back home. I really did get individual attention.”
“I particularly enjoyed meeting people with similar interests and having a working reason for being in a location.”
