Join us at 6:00 pm at our hotel in Cape Town, where your Tour
Manager will warmly welcome workshop members. Enjoy
welcome drinks, followed by a delightful included dinner. It's the
perfect chance to mingle and get acquainted with your fellow

DAY 2 Friday 16 May, 2025
Cape Town
Get ready for an exciting day of exploration and creativity in Cape
Town. Our morning begins with a guided tour starting at Table
Mountain. We will take the cable car to the top for panoramic
views of the city and coastline. After descending from Table
Mountain, we will head to the colourful Bo-Kaap neighbourhood
and take a walk through the streets lined with brightly coloured
houses and learn about the area's Cape Malay culture and history.
We will see many of the city’s landmarks such as City Hall, the
Parliament Building, and the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest
surviving colonial building in South Africa. In the afternoon, we
will have our first painting session in Cape Town. Whether you
are a seasoned artist or a beginner, John will be there to provide
helpful tips and advice to help you create your masterpiece.
DAY 3 Saturday 17 May, 2025
Cape Town, South Africa
Under the guidance of John, we will head to a fantastic painting
location in Cape Town. John will lead the workshop group to
a spot that offers great views and plenty of inspiration for our
painting session. John will carry out a demonstration to show
you how to get started on your own painting. He will provide
tips on techniques, colour mixing, and composition to help you
achieve the best possible result. Throughout the session, John
will be on hand to help individual workshop members with their work. He will offer guidance on any challenges you might be
facing and provide valuable feedback to help you improve your
skills. This evening there will be an included dinner.
DAY 4 Sunday 18 May, 2025
Cape Town
Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, are charming towns nestled
in South Africa's Western Cape Province and are renowned for
picturesque landscapes, Cape Dutch architecture, and renowned
vineyards. Our day will be immersed in the vibrant artistic
atmosphere of Stellenbosch and Franschloek, painting scenes
that capture its unique beauty. A highlight will be a delightful
lunch experience at one of its renowned vineyards, adding a
taste of local flavour to our artistic journey.
DAY 5 Monday 19 May, 2025
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
This morning, we will take a flight to Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls,
one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, is a breathtaking
sight to behold. Known locally as "Mosi-oa-Tunya" or "The
Smoke that Thunders," the falls are over a kilometre wide and
100 meters tall, making them the largest waterfall in the world.
The sheer volume of water cascading down the cliffs creates a
spectacular spray of mist that can be seen for miles around. This
afternoon, we will have the opportunity to explore the falls up
close, taking in the awe-inspiring views and perhaps even feeling
the spray on our faces. It promises to be a truly unforgettable
experience. This evening there will be an included dinner.
DAY 6 Tuesday 20 May, 2025
Victoria Falls
Today, we have a full day dedicated to painting around the
majestic Victoria Falls. John, will be on hand to provide guidance
and tips to enhance your paintings, ensuring you capture the
beauty and grandeur of this natural wonder. Whether you're
inspired by the thundering waters, the lush surroundings, or the unique wildlife that call this area home, today's
painting session promises to be both inspiring and
rewarding. This evening there will be an included dinner.
DAY 7 Wednesday 21 May, 2025
Victoria Falls
Today we will visit the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust it is a
non-profit organization based in Victoria Falls that is dedicated
to the conservation and protection of wildlife in the region.
One of the main objectives of the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust,
is to rescue and rehabilitate injured, orphaned, and distressed
wildlife. This will be a unique opportunity to learn about the
organization's conservation efforts and hopefully get up close to
some of the wildlife. Following our tour there will be a painting
session. This evening, we will enjoy a sunset cruise along the
Zambezi River, complete with dinner. This excursion offers a
fantastic chance to witness the local wildlife, including majestic
hippos, as they emerge from the river. The tranquil setting,
coupled with the vibrant colours of the sunset, promises a truly
magical experience.
DAY 8 Thursday 22 May, 2025
Victoria Falls
A full day of painting around Victoria Falls. Late in the afternoon,
you might consider taking an optional "Flight of Angels”, a scenic
helicopter flight over the falls, providing a breathtaking aerial
perspective of this natural wonder. This evening there will be an
included dinner.
DAY 9 Friday 23 May, 2025
Cresta Mowana Safari Lodge, Botswana
Today we will transfer to Cresta Mowana Safari Lodge for an
unforgettable experience. Chobe National Park is renowned for
its vast elephant populations, large herds of buffalo (rivalled
only by some sizable lion prides), and astonishing birdlife, Chobe National Park promises to create lasting memories. The park's
stunning riverfront teems with wildlife, including undisturbed
predators, set against heavenly landscapes. Late afternoon,
we embark on our first game drive, venturing out to seek out
the wildlife that inhabits the ancient woodlands and open
savannah plains of the park. Keep your eyes peeled for the roan
antelope, sable herds, giraffes in their journeys, kudus, zebras,
wildebeests, warthogs, lions, leopards, and the occasional
African wild dog. This evening there will be an included dinner at
Cresta Mowana Safari Lodge.
DAY 10 Saturday 24 May, 2025
Cresta Mowana Safari Lodge
This morning, we will have a unique opportunity to immerse
ourselves in the local culture with an authentic Namibian village
tour. We will explore the neighbouring country and visit Impalila
Island with a local guide, just a short boat cruise across the
Chobe River. This excursion offers a glimpse into the daily lives
and rich culture of the Namibian people, providing a deeper understanding of this beautiful region. In the afternoon, there
will be a painting session, allowing you to capture the essence
of your experience. Late afternoon, we will embark on another
thrilling game drive in Chobe National Park, offering a chance
to encounter the park's diverse wildlife in their natural habitat.
This evening there will be an included dinner at Cresta Mowana
Safari Lodge.
DAY 11 Sunday 25 May, 2025

This morning, we will embark on an early morning exciting
game drive to explore the wilderness. Later, you will have the opportunity to paint and capture the beauty of this unique
landscape. Late afternoon, we have a special treat planned: a
relaxing sundowner cruise on the Chobe River. This experience
offers some of Africa's finest and most intimate game viewing
opportunities. Our expert guides will navigate the riverboat,
providing you with the perfect vantage point to observe hippos
grazing at dusk and the impressive herds of buffalo. With luck,
you might even catch a glimpse of elephants crossing the river,
using their trunks as snorkels – a sight that never fails to amaze!
To conclude our day, we will gather for an included dinner at
Cresta Mowana Safari Lodge.
DAY 12 Monday 26 May, 2025
Cresta Mowana Safari Lodge
This morning’s painting session under the expert guidance of
John will be at Cresta Mowana Safari lodge. In the afternoon, you will
have time to put the finishing touches on your artwork before
our final critique session. To wrap up our time together, we will
gather for farewell drinks and a special farewell dinner at Cresta
Mowana Safari Lodge celebrating the wonderful art created
during our workshop.

This morning you will be transferred to Victoria Falls airport for
flights departing after 1.00pm. Transfers to other nearby airports
are available through the hotel at an additional cost.

1. Payment Conditions:
A reservation deposit of $500 per person is required at the
time of booking. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the
date of departure. A 1.5% administration charge will be
added to payments by Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
2. Alteration to Workshop Vacation Price:
The Painting Workshop Vacation price is subject to change
in the event of unforeseen circumstances and changes in
the cost of travel and accommodation services. Should any
increase in the Workshop Vacation price be unacceptable
to the registered member, a full refund of monies paid will
be made.
3. Cancellation and Amendments:
* Cancellation conditions don’t apply for clients with future cruise/tour credits. Cruise/tour credits are non-refundable.
Cancellations received in writing 60 or more days from the
date of departure will result in a cancellation fee of $500
per person. Cancellations received 60 or fewer days before
departure will result in a loss of all monies paid. There are
no refunds for services not utilized while on a Workshop
Vacation. Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover
Workshop members for the consequences of unforeseen
events during the Workshop Vacation and for cancellation
fees that could result from illness, accident, death or other
contingencies. Once a booking has been confirmed, one
amendment to travel arrangements will be made free-of
charge. Subsequent changes to travel arrangements will
incur an amendment fee of $25 per change in addition to
supplier charges.
4. Minimum Workshop Vacation Numbers:
Each Painting Workshop Vacation has been priced on the
basis of a minimum number of members travelling. In the event that fewer than the minimum number of members
have confirmed their booking 60 days from the date of
commencement, Travelrite International reserves the right
to cancel the Workshop Vacation, giving a full refund of
monies paid, or to offer arrangements to proceed with the
Workshop Vacation at a modified price.
5. General:
In the unlikely event that the Workshop tutor is
unable to perform his or her duties due to unforeseen
contingencies, Travelrite International reserves the right
to substitute another artist as tutor or to continue with
the Workshop Vacation as planned or to provide a cash
refund to Workshop members equivalent to the value of
the Workshop leadership. International Artist Painting
Workshops can involve a considerable amount of walking
and stair-climbing in the regions visited and it is important
that all members have a level of physical fitness that allows
them to take part in these activities without the need of
assistance from others.
6. Tax Considerations:
If you regularly sell your own paintings, you may fall into
the semi-professional or professional category for taxation
purposes and the tour cost may be tax-deductible. We
recommend that you seek the advice of a qualified tax
adviser.
7. Responsibilities:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd., their agents, officers,
affiliates, and/or suppliers of services pursuant to or
in connection with these Workshop Vacations shall
act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels,
transportation, restaurants, or any other service and do
not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage,
death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due
to an act of negligence or of default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any services
included in the Workshops, or by act of God. Further, no
responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay
due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery
breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather,
terrorism, or other causes beyond their control. No
responsibility is accepted for any additional expenses,
omissions, delays, rerouting or acts of any government
or authority. Baggage remains at owner’s risk throughout
the Workshop Vacation. The passage contract in use by
the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the
sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of
these Painting Workshop Vacations and/or the passengers.
The right is reserved to withdraw any Painting Workshop
Vacation and/or to make such changes in the Painting
Workshop Vacation as may be found desirable for the
convenience of the parties and the proper carrying-out
of the Painting Workshop Vacation. Registration for any
Painting Workshop Vacation constitutes a contract which
shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State
of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be taken in
the State of Victoria.
