Annee is an award-winning artist and a Fellow of both the Victorian Artists Society and the Guild of Realist Artists. She has also been awarded the title of Master Watercolourist by Mondial Art Academia based in Paris. Annee is also a member of the Watercolour Society of Victoria and the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors, in addition to other art groups and societies in Victoria. She is an avid En Plein Air painter and has been tutoring for over 30 years, imparting her knowledge and enthusiasm to her classes in an engaging manner. Annee is also often invited to conduct demonstrations and workshops by many art groups and societies. She conducted 10 independent European workshops to France and Italy in the past in addition to being now an art instructor for Travelrite International. Annee paints in a fluent and confident style, holds a strong sense of composition and sound draftsmanship and will tackle a wide variety of subject matter. She is mostly known as a Watercolourist but paints also in Pastel and Acrylics.
DAY 1: Monday 27 April 2026 Flinders Ranges
Workshop participants will depart from Adelaide Airport at 10:00
AM (please ensure you allow enough time to collect your luggage
before departure). We will travel to the awe-inspiring Flinders
Ranges National Park, our destination being the renowned
Wilpena Pound Resort. Set against the backdrop of some of
South Australia’s most breathtaking and rugged scenery, the
Flinders Ranges are sure to inspire awe. Our accommodation at
Wilpena Pound Resort places us in the heart of an extraordinary
natural basin covering approximately 80 square kilometres. Upon
arrival, the group will gather for a welcome drinks reception
followed by a delicious included dinner.
DAY 2: Tuesday 28 April 2026 Flinders Ranges
Today’s painting session will unfold at the historic Old Wilpena
Station, nestled within the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park.
Wilpena Station, established in 1851, was an integral pioneering
pastoral run with a remarkable working life spanning 135
years. Today, it stands as a testament to the resilience of the
past, offering a glimpse into the region’s historical significance.
Capture the character and essence of this iconic location as Annee
guides you through the painting process. This evening there is an
included dinner.
DAY 3: Wednesday 29 April 2026 Flinders Ranges
Today we travel to Brachina Gorge, a captivating location for a
day of painting. Once a passage for bullock teams pulling their
loads, this spectacular gorge now stands as a picnic and camping
area, offering a picturesque canvas for artists. With its rich
history and stunning landscapes, Brachina Gorge promises a
unique and inspiring painting experience. This evening there is
an included dinner.
DAY 4: Thursday 30 April 2026 Flinders Ranges
Today we travel to the historic and picturesque Blinman for
a full day of painting. Nestled in the central Flinders Ranges,
Blinman holds the distinction of being the highest town in South
Australia. Its rich history traces back to the discovery of copper in
1859, with mining operations commencing in 1862. At its zenith,
Blinman boasted a population exceeding 1500 residents. Today,
this tranquil settlement has evolved into a peaceful haven with
a permanent population of just 22. In the evening, we enjoy an
included dinner.
DAY 5: Friday 1 May 2026 Flinders Ranges
Annee will guide you to an inspiring painting location near
the hotel, where she will teach you how to capture the unique
beauty of the landscape. During your stay, you’ll also have the
option to take a thrilling sightseeing flight over Wilpena Pound.
This evening there will be an included dinner.
DAY 6:
Saturday 2 May 2026 Flinders Ranges
On our final day painting in the Flinders Ranges. Join Annee for
a special painting demonstration. Following the demonstration,
Annee will dedicate time to move among the group members,
offering individual assistance and guidance. This evening there
will be an included dinner.
DAY 7: Sunday 3 May 2026 Clare Valley
This morning, we set off for Clare, a charming town nestled
in the heart of the Clare Valley wine region, renowned for its
scenic beauty and rich viticulture. Surrounded by rolling hills,
picturesque vineyards, and historic buildings, Clare exudes a
tranquil, rustic charm. En route, we will stop in Burra, a town
brimming with historic sites from the 1850s copper mining era.
After exploring Burra’s fascinating heritage, we will continue to
Clare. This evening there will be an included dinner.
DAY 8: Monday 4 May 2026 Clare Valley
This morning we will visit the grand 19th century Martindale
Hall mansion in Mintaro as well as the historic township of
Auburn. Annee will hold a demonstration for the group and will
provide individual help to workshop members. There will be
time for lunch at “The magpie and stump hotel” (own expense).
DAY 9: Tuesday 5 May 2026 Clare Valley
Today, we will enjoy a painting session at a charming boutique winery in the heart of Clare Valley. With plenty of inspiring subjects to capture, this will be a delightful experience for all workshop participants. In addition to painting, you will have the chance to savour exceptional wines and enjoy a delicious lunch, included at one of the region’s renowned wineries.
DAY 10: Wednesday 6 May 2026 Hahndorf
This morning we travel to Adelaide Hills’ most famous town, Hahndorf. Hahndorf is Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement and home to Hans Heysen for many years. There’s still a strong German flavour in Hahndorf, most evident in the smallgood outlets and German bakeries that line the bustling main street. In the afternoon we visit the former home and studio of artist Sir Hans Heysen. We will take a guided tour of “The Cedars” this gracious old home, still owned by the Heysen family. It houses a fine collection of paintings and drawings displaying Heysen’s remarkable versatility in subject and medium. Also on the grounds, we will see Heysen’s working studio, his painting materials and tools, sketches, notes and more.
DAY 11: Thursday 7 May 2026 Hahndorf
Today, we will spend a full day painting in the charming town of Hahndorf. Annee will select a picturesque location for the group, where she will begin with a demonstration, showcasing techniques to capture the essence of the scene. Afterward, she will provide individual guidance and support to each participant, ensuring everyone receives personalized assistance as they create their own interpretations of the beautiful surroundings.
DAY 12: Friday 8 May 2026 Hahndorf
Today Annee will hold a final demonstration followed by individual tuition. This afternoon there will be time for painting and a final critique session. There will be a farewell drinks session and an included dinner to celebrate our time in South Australia.
DAY 13: Saturday 9 May 2026 Departure
This morning workshop members will be transferred to Adelaide airport to join flights to their home cities departing after 1.00pm.

1. Payment Conditions:
A reservation deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the date of departure. A 1.5% administration charge will be added to payments by Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
2. Alteration to Workshop Vacation Price:
The Painting Workshop Vacation price is subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances and changes in the cost of travel and accommodation services. Should any increase in the Workshop Vacation price be unacceptable to the registered member, a full refund of monies paid will be made.
3. Cancellation and Amendments:
Cancellations received in writing 60 or more days from the date of departure will result in a cancellation fee of $500 per person. Cancellations received 60 or fewer days before departure will result in a loss of all monies paid. There are no refunds for services not utilized while on a Workshop Vacation. Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover Workshop members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the Workshop Vacation and for cancellation fees that could result from illness, accident, death or other contingencies. Once a booking has been confirmed, one amendment to travel arrangements will be made free-of charge. Subsequent changes to travel arrangements will incur an amendment fee of $25 per change in addition to supplier charges.
4. Minimum Workshop Vacation Numbers:
Each Painting Workshop Vacation has been priced on the basis of a minimum number of members travelling. In the event that fewer than the minimum number of members have confirmed their booking 60 days from the date of commencement, Travelrite International reserves the right to cancel the Workshop Vacation, giving a full refund of monies paid, or to offer arrangements to proceed with the Workshop Vacation at a modified price.
5. General:
In the unlikely event that the Workshop tutor is unable to perform his or her duties due to unforeseen contingencies, Travelrite International reserves the right to substitute another artist as tutor or to continue with the Workshop Vacation as planned or to provide a cash refund to Workshop members equivalent to the value of the Workshop leadership. International Artist Painting Workshops can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair-climbing in the regions visited and it is important that all members have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in these activities without the need of assistance from others.
6. Tax Considerations:
If you regularly sell your own paintings, you may fall into the semi-professional or professional category for taxation purposes and the tour cost may be tax-deductible. We recommend that you seek the advice of a qualified tax adviser.
7. Responsibilities:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd., their agents, officers, affiliates, and/or suppliers of services pursuant to or in connection with these Workshop Vacations shall act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, restaurants, or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or of default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any services included in the Workshops, or by act of God.
Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism, or other causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, rerouting or acts of any government or authority. Baggage remains at owner’s risk throughout the Workshop Vacation. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of these Painting Workshop Vacations and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any Painting Workshop Vacation and/or to make such changes in the Painting Workshop Vacation as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying-out of the Painting Workshop Vacation. Registration for any Painting Workshop Vacation constitutes a contract which shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be taken in the State of Victoria.
