Amanda has been a professional artist for thirty years. She is recognized as an outstanding water colourist and oil painter, known for her mastery of the design elements, her ability to tell a story in every painting and to create just the right mood with her amazing confident brush strokes. Her vast range of subject matter captures “the light, and a moody magic’’ that Amanda feels is so important. She is a member of the prestigious Twenty Melbourne Painters Society, has had many articles and books published and has exhibited twice in New York. The gifted Amanda strives for excellence in her art and all her works depict her passion and love of painting.

Watercolour Workshop

Thirteen days of painting and exploration in the beautiful Blue Mountains and Sydney. Your base in Sydney will be the Rocks, which is famous for its historic buildings and its location on the shore of the beautiful Sydney Harbour. We then journey to the Blue Mountains where you will be captivated by the one million hectares of tall forests, sandstone cliffs, canyons and waterfalls. Amanda Hyatt will show you how to paint these two iconic destinations with daily demonstrations and tuition.
