Annee is an award-winning artist and a Fellow of both the Victorian Artists Society and the Guild of Realist Artists. Annee was invited recently by an international Art Society, Mondial Art Academia, based in France, to join as a member selected by a Panel of its Jurors, granting her the title of “Chevalier Academicienne” (the closest translation to this would be Master Painter). She is also a member of the Watercolour Society of Victoria and the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors, in addition to other art groups and societies. She is an avid En Plein Air painter and has been tutoring for over 30 years, imparting her knowledge and enthusiasm to her classes. Annee has taken part in many Overseas and Australian group exhibitions, in addition to having held 17 solo exhibitions. Besides French, which is her native language, she is also conversant in Italian and Spanish and has conducted 10 European workshops.
Annee paints in a fluent and confident style, holds a strong sense of composition and sound draftsmanship and will tackle a wide variety of subject matter. Whilst painting in Pastel and Acrylic, her favourite medium remains Watercolour.

“It was so well organized. We got to see all the best places, but without feeling we were being herded around like cattle, like you do on some tours. There was plenty of time to paint, and the instructor told me more about how to improve my painting style in weeks than I have learned all year back home. I really did get individual attention.”
“I particularly enjoyed meeting people with similar interests and having a working reason for being in a location.”
