With over 30 years of oil painting experience behind him, John's traditional landscapes and seascapes are highly regarded for their fresh 'painterly' feel. John has won many awards for his works including the Australian Artist magazine's national seascape competition in 2001 and has been featured in that magazine on numerous occasions
His first instructional book on oil painting titled "the Finishing Touch – a simple approach to better oil painting" encapsulates John's straightforward, nononsense approach to his craft. He regularly demonstrates and teaches art throughout Sydney and New South Wales and his workshops are known for being well structured and very enjoyable.
This workshop offers 15 days of painting and adventure in the spectacular Australian Outback.
